As I sat and took stock of things I am thankful for yesterday on Thanksgiving, one thing that kept coming up was the new home I have in Brooklyn. I never thought I'd be living in THE CITY but am glad I jumped at the chance because there are so many great people working hard to do what they are passionate about around me. The Do What UcFit attitude is abundant out here. I had the pleasure of meeting a few of these inspiring, like-minded, outdoorsy, go-getters last week in BK at the Juniper Ridge (www.juniperridge.com) pop-up stand. Obi and Hall, the guys behind the company, have turned their passion for the northwestern forests of the US into their full time occupation. Check out their wildcrafting events around the country and also find out more about their awesome natural products. All I know is that the PJ Cruiser (my Toyota FJ) is driving through the concrete jungle but inside it smells like the Cascade range in Washington and Oregon. Thanks for my fix guys, hopefully I'll be running down a trail soon!
Check them out!
