The Detroit Olympics played in the 1968 National Lacrosse Association, joining the Peterborugh Lakers,
Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Montreal Canadians, in forming the NLA's Eastern Division.
Coached by the legendary Jim Bishop, the Olympics posted a 24-14-0 record, finishing first overall in the
East.
The Olympics swept Peterborough, 4 games to none, in the league's semi-finals, before bowing to the
New Westminister Salmonbellies in the league championship series, four games to two.
